The section is made to apply to persons who procure girls to "frequent a bro- -thel amplifying the words of the jold section "be- ¡-coming an inmate".

The Hongkong Authorities have very elaborate powers.Custody of girls under 16. The limit age of custody in Great Britain is 21 and in Hongkong 19.

Under Sections 12,13,14,15 and 16 of Ordinance 4 of 1897 and Ord.11 of 1904, the Hongkong Authorities have somewhat greater powers in dealing with Brothels than are given in the English Act.

These are formal Sections and sections relative to costs and procedure.

The same power is possessed in Hongkong as in Great Britain.

This small amendment is not in thạ Hongkong Law. It does not appear to me to be very important locally.
